At Last a 2012 Banks Thargo SWS Points update!!

Hi to all Bansk Thargo South West Series Competitors and interested parties. This points update does not include the Gorae West (WET!) results, they will be included shortly. This years event has been a secret points event , a bit like the brownlow medal;.) The current top ten is a bit of a surprise to me, and it sets up the final events to be a bit of a show down. with 2 on equal first watch this space.       5 points to start each race
      5 points to finish each race
      extra 10 points to win race, 9 second down to 1 extra point for 10th.
      So the winner gets 20. second 19 and so on.

      Condah championships, 12 points if start and finish, plus extra 10 for winner, 9 for second and 8 for third place.

      The idea is to make the Championship event an important part of the series.
      Consistency will place you in the top ten.
      Not too many do all all of the events.

    The SWS points ensures a solid start list. anyone with over 70 points at this stage has started a lot of the events. The more that follow the SWS points the better for each club, in an ideal world there would be 20 riders like Spek, Darcey, Shannon Malseed and Stuart Robinson then we would have an outstanding series, and probably well over 50 starters at each event. If you played football the commitment is to play each week, The SWS is only on every second or third week spread over 7 months so it is a very achieveable goal to ride each event.
